A Christmas Carol plot

It's 1843 when everyone in London is getting ready for a merry Christmas. Everyone except the biggest sourpuss in town: Ebenezer Scrooge. He thinks nothing is more important than making money. Christmas is just a difficult and time-consuming thing for him. His loyal co-worker Ben earns a measly salary and is always forced to work overtime. Also at Christmas, while he would like to spend more time with his disabled son Tim. But Mr. Scrooge has no pity and wants nothing to do with that stupid Christmas thing. But on Christmas Eve, a wonderful thing happens: Scrooge is visited by three zeitgeists, who take him on a time journey through the past, present and future of his Christmas. The zeitgeist gives Scrooge one last chance to mend his life and embrace Christmas forever...

Quite a nice version of the story, but due to the short playing time it is all a bit rushed.

In any case, Scrooge was nicely portrayed and the 3 ghosts were also worthwhile, and the story was creatively put together for the short playing time.

It is all a bit too short and therefore a bit forced here and there, but apart from that it has become a nice animated version of the story.

2.5* (probably a 3 if the movie had been a bit longer)

A reasonable animated film of the Christmas classic "A Christmas Carol." If you're not familiar with the story yet, I wouldn't start with this 1994 version. However, if you don't get enough of the countless film adaptations, this one is also worth watching.
