Tempo of a Restless Soul plot
A film like a soundtrack, but this time the images tell the story of the music. It's a story about Tom Barman, the man who wrote the soundtrack. As a public figure, Barman hardly needs to be introduced: he is the leader of dEUS, musical jack-of-all-trades and the man behind the 0110 concerts against the extreme right. Nevertheless, the extroverted artist – who enchants, seduces, moves and inspires – almost never exposes his soul. In "Portrait of a Young Man as an Artist", Tom let the camera penetrate his world as an exclusive friend for two years. The film tries to expose its soul - from the release of "Pocket Revolution" in 2006 to "Vantage Point" two years later, at a concert in a sold-out Ancienne Belgique, featuring Tom's mother and the striking similarities between her and her son.
