Saving Africa's Witch Children plot
Saving Africa's Witch Children is about children in Nigeria who are labeled as witches by local priests. That label results in the children being persecuted, tortured, starved and in the worst case killed, all in the name of Jesus Christ. In some of the poorest areas of Nigeria, where there is a very strict gospel practice, as well as a firm belief in witchcraft and black magic, thousands of children are held responsible for catastrophes, disasters and death. They are seen by influential and powerful pastors and fortune tellers as Satan in flesh and blood. The documentary follows Englishman Gary Foxcroft, who has devoted his life to helping these desperate and vulnerable children. He set up Stepping Stones Nigeria, an organization that raises money to save some of these children.
