The Achievers: The Story of the Lebowski Fans plot

In 1998 the movie The Big Lebowski came out. The film became a financial flop and did not even recoup its investment. Due to the negative reviews, the film disappeared from cinemas within six weeks. Nevertheless, De Coen-brothers' The Big Lebowski achieved such an overwhelming cult status that a huge fan club arose: The Achievers. Director Eddie Chung followed the Lebowski festival and his fans for five years. At the Lebowski Fest, lifelong friendships are born and exceptional events take place. The fan club and its annual Lebowski Fest has become an attraction in itself. Chung goes looking for the 'why?' What's so intriguing about 'The Dude'?
