Die Berührte plot
Veronika is a middle-aged woman from a wealthy family. She wanders confusedly through the streets of nighttime Berlin near the Wall. She is looking for God. She hopes to find him by chatting with older men, hobos, immigrants and other outcasts on the outskirts of town. Veronika declares her love to them in an unusual way and, despite her enlightened, religious mind, she ends up in a psychiatric clinic.
