Sugar Creek plot

"...and the beast said, "Come and see.""

Adam Stanton is in a dark wooden box and is being dragged. Suddenly the towing stops and the chest is unlocked. When Adam opens the chest, he sees no one, but sees that there are five other chests next to his. Confusion and fear surface. There is a legend about a dark horseman who carries his victims to a place in coffins and then hunts them for three days. The legend also tells that whoever helps the victims will also fall prey to the dark rider. On his quest for the dark rider and what connects Adam to the rider, Adam encounters several people who all fall into the hands of the dark rider. Adam meets lost missionary Christine and with her help discovers there is no escaping the past. Wrong choices in the past are not forgotten and must be corrected. Doing nothing is the greatest sin.
