Wakaranai: Where Are You? plot
16-year-old schoolboy Ryo works in a small shop to pay his mother's hospital bills, which have been outstanding for months. Unable to pay the rent, he pays for his food by adding it to his customers' bills. When his boss gets wind of this, he is fired. Ryo finds solace in maintaining a wooden rowboat he found. When Ryo's mother dies, there isn't even enough money for a proper funeral. That is why he seeks contact with his father, who left years ago and has a new family. But his father also has his own problems...
