"Stand by For Action! The Rousing, Roaring Saga of a First Class Fighting Man...! Walloping Wally Is In the Army!"

Patrick Aloysius 'Hap' Doan is a sergeant in the cavalry. Hap, who is used to dealing with horses and military horsemen, has difficulty with the arrival of army vehicles and tanks. Hap therefore resists the arrival of all these modern vehicles, until he is confronted with saboteurs of the enemy.
