Prey between four walls.

Didn't expect much from it but Burning Bright was still quite exciting at times. Being locked in your own house with an aggressive tiger that hasn't eaten in two weeks is of course a nightmare and Brooks knows how to convey that nicely. Tension is of course quickly created with such a predator, but a number of scenes stand out. It is a pity that at such a moment the neighbor's cat sticks his head through the open attic window. I died a little inside.

In such a small film it is always a matter of waiting to see what the budget is like, but luckily that was big enough to hire a real tiger - or tigers. And that is the strength of the film, it is easy to sympathize with the victims because everything is kept as realistic as possible. I never missed CGI, cuddly tigers or blood.

Evigan does play nice and is nice to look at, especially her body. They should have just shoved Tom in the tiger's mouth because it was really annoying. Despite the fact that the film is quite exciting, it started to feel a bit repetitive after an hour. It was clear it wasn't going to be much more than a cat-and-man game. Still nice to have seen a movie with a convincing killer animal.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this movie. It's a simple story, but very effective. I thought it was a relatively exciting film that was not boring at all. A short playing time ensured that there were no dead moments.

The cast were all strangers, but they certainly didn't do badly.

They made a good movie with fairly limited resources.

Help, there's a tiger in the house!

Some exciting scenes in this house but filmed with very little visual talent and with inferior dialogue. Nothing more than a reasonable straight-to-DVD that will be forgotten tomorrow.
