The Trail Rider plot
Cowboy Tex Hartwell comes to the rescue of an old shoemaker who is being abused by banker Jim Mackey. The banker orders his henchmen to kill the troublesome Hartwell. Hartwell is one of the fastest gunslingers in the area and comes out of the fight unscathed. He takes a job at Dee Winch's ranch. Winch is troubled by a gang of cattle thieves led by banker Mackey.
