Crips, Strapped 'n Strong plot
The Hague gang Crips (Community Revolution In Progress) is mainly concerned with armed robbery and drug trafficking against a background of rap music; 'Rhyme and crime'. The Main Triad Crips have pledged undying allegiance to each other and the members emphasize that loyalty with tattoos like 'Crips4Life'. They mark their territory with graffiti and stick themselves from head to toe in blue, the color of the Crips gangs from Los Angeles. Crips shows that there is no glorification of the bullshit that the gang engages in. 'Slip' and 'snitch' are punished and stepping out of the 'hallway' is certainly not an option. Yet there are always young 'homies' ready to continue the 'gangbanging'. It is the story of Keylow, who keeps the hallway together, of Main C. who wants to leave the set because of his children and of Santos, who returns to Suriname to be 'someone' again.
