09:11 Zulu - Nederlandse Commando's in Uruzgan plot

Commandos in Uruzgan, what kind of people are they and what secret operations do they carry out there? After 2.5 years of preparation, training and confidence building, filmmaker Vik Franke was given permission to spend almost two months with the Dutch Special Forces in enemy Taliban areas. Uruzgan is the central province in Afghanistan, homeland of the Taliban: The heart of darkness. This documentary answers the question whether people and The Hague and Washington are aware of the ground truth of real direct war. The film ends in a massive firefight when Franke and the commandos are ambushed by more than 100 Taliban fighters. A unique precedent was set: the filmmaker picks up a weapon and fights for his life.
