Meh.

I stumbled upon this film through my Hackman marathon, one of the last in reverse chronological order. And, in my opinion, one of the least interesting on the list so far—maybe not the worst film, but certainly uninteresting. The story is a bit lackluster, but it's also told very slowly, it all moves very glacially, and for most of the duration, practically nothing happens, making it feel like the running time is much longer than the aforementioned 92 minutes. Perhaps also due to the endless and inappropriate repetition of As Time Goes By, which finally frees you for the title role, has become a kind of Mariah-esque torment.

Furthermore, it's all terrible. The actors don't impress, the visuals are mostly meh and barely there, and the action is just as unimpressive as the whole thing.

Even if you absolutely must see every film starring Hackman, I'd still say skip this one. It's simply not worth it.
