Crepuscule plot

A beautiful young woman (Nellie Benner) comes to Amsterdam and rents a dark, sparsely furnished room. Her job at a gas station is her only contact with the outside world. At home she dances, she plays the piano. When she gets the feeling of being chased by one of the customers at the gas station, she withdraws even further into her isolation. She becomes increasingly depressed and more paranoid. How long can she maintain her isolation?
