In China, the end of the Ming dynasty is in sight. While the Ming general Chen Chan Kung has fled to Taiwan, a number of loyal followers continue to fight against the Qing dynasty. Among them is an assassin who infiltrated the Qing army and killed an important general there. In his flight to Taiwan, he is chased by a group of elite fighters of the new emperor.
