Private Number plot

Young and attractive housekeeper Ellen Neal falls in love with Richard, the son of her wealthy employer Perry Winfield. They even get married and have a baby. The arrogant butler Thomas Wroxton dislikes this marriage of two different social classes and does everything he can to disrupt the happy marriage. A second reason is that Thomas is also in love with Ellen.
