Angela Cimarelli watches with sorrow as her sister Teresa marries a wealthy dentist, whom Angela does not trust at all. And rightly so, since he cheats and mistreats her. Her family is saddened by the situation. Everything worsens when Teresa suddenly appears without a trace shortly after giving birth.
