This is the UK version of "Mademoiselle Docteur".

Reportedly, Gréville did more at that time. Making a French and British version of his films, with completely different artists, almost simultaneously.

Film clearly bears the stamp of its time, contains a certain tension, could possibly represent more in a more modern version and the acting seems a bit too much to me as if one has just stepped out of the silent film. So how artificial.
