"A GLORIOUS ROMANCE THAT FLAMED WITH BRILLIANT INTENSITY!"
Popular London stage actress Stella Parish suddenly disappears without a trace. British news correspondent Keith Lockridge travels town and country in search of Stella, who is now taking care of her beloved daughter Gloria by Aunt Nana. Finally, Lockridge finds Stella and learns that she has gone into hiding due to rumors of her criminal past. She is said to have once served a prison sentence because she was charged with murder. Lockridge promises to put an end to these rumours, but his report falls into the wrong hands and gets published, putting Stella's career to an end. Lockridge doesn't give up and wants to work on Stella's comeback.
