Sekret Enigmy plot

Three Polish mathematicians want to be the first to crack the Enigma code. This code was used by the Germans just before World War II. They build replicas of the Enigma machine and send them to the British and French codebreakers, before the invasion of Poland, in the year 1939. When the invasion is over, the Poles are released, and they continue their work in Algeria.

I will once again mention the Polish mathematicians who were the first to decipher messages from the German Enigma machine: Marian Rejewski, Jerzy Różycki and Henryk Zygalski. They deserve that. Thanks to their important preparatory work, the British cryptological service, together with Alan Turing, managed to further crack the encrypted codes and the Allies gained control over the submarine war in the Atlantic Ocean. See the film The Imitation Game. I don't think a word is said about the Polish cryptologists in this sequel. Strangely enough, Rejewski and Zygalski were also not invited by the British to make any further contributions. Różycki died in 1942 during a storm in the Mediterranean.

Don't ask me how the decoding of the German Enigma worked. As a non-beta, I know all about that. What I did understand is that the Germans were stupid enough to always end every coded message with the same formula, the infamous Nazi salute. The film mainly follows the Polish intelligence service, which first achieved success in December 1932. Even before Adolf Hitler's seizure of power, which is only briefly visible in the opening. The German threat, even after the invasion in September 1939, is barely palpable, which is a point of criticism. It won't be boring, but it won't be exciting either.
