Das Fremde in Mir plot
Rebecca and her boyfriend Julian are expecting their first child. When she gives birth to a perfectly healthy boy, their happiness seems complete. Still, Rebecca doesn't feel the motherly love she expected. It even goes from bad to worse. The incompetence to care for the child becomes a daily confrontation with herself and the baby. She doesn't dare admit this to anyone, not even herself. It ends with the realization that she is a threat to her son and she is admitted to a therapeutic center. In her recovery she will have to learn to love the smell, the smile,... of her child.
