"HE'S GOT THE TOWN BY THE THROAT!"

Shubunka is a small-scale mobster who uses a soda shop as a facade for his illegal activities and has his affairs in order in every way. When he meets the attractive nightclub singer Nancy Starr, he awakens feelings that he has managed to suppress for years. His waning vigilance gives his ruthless competitor Cornell space to attempt to take over Shubunka's trade.
