Detoroito Metaru Shiti plot
Souichi is a timid, sensitive and kind music nerd who moves from the Japanese countryside to Tokyo to realize his big dream: to become a pop star. But things don't go as planned, and the only gig he can get is as the front man for the infamous metal band "Detroit Metal City". Dressed in a cape and demonic makeup, "Detroit Metal City" turns out to be a huge hit. The fans think that Souchi, who goes by the name Johannes Klauser II, is really a drug-addicted demon from hell.
