"Would You Have the Nerve to Do What She Did on Her Wedding Day?"
Texan actress Shelley Carnes stands up for Richard Trevelyan, who she believes is falsely accused of murdering his wife. Trevelyan is released due to a formal error in court, but he is guilty in the eyes of public opinion. Carnes remains faithful to Trevelyan and eventually marries him. On the wedding night, Carnes learns that she has made a terrible mistake by getting married. It doesn't take long for her to end up in the clutches of a killer too, but is it Trevelyan?
