C'est Quoi la Vie? plot

Nicolas is a farmer's son who lives with his parents, grandparents and sister in the countryside. Life is determined by the rising and setting sun, the milking time of the cows and the course of the seasons. His father hopes that Nicolas will take over the farm as the third generation. But family life in the countryside oppresses Nicolas. He doesn't know exactly what he wants yet, but at least he wants to get away from the farm.
