Nana plot
Nana is a star in the world of Variété, but because of her defiant attitude she turns the Parisian world upside down. The banker Steiner abandoned his girlfriend, the singer Rose Mignon, for her and even wasted a fortune on her. Nana, however, breaks with him and becomes the mistress of Count Muffat, chamberlain of Emperor Napoleon III. The count is never home again and his own wife moves away from him. But then Nana has a new love again: the Duke Vandeuvre, who does everything possible for Nana to forget the Count Muffat. However, Nana is increasingly frightened by the consequences of the passions she arouses and decides to leave Paris.
