The Small World of Sammy Lee plot
"Soho... Where Love Comes Cheap... Money Comes Hard...And Life is a Girl With a Suitcase a Thousand Miles From Home."
Sammy, the announcer at a strip club in Soho, is threatened by an accomplice of Connor, a bookmaker, to whom he still owes a lot of money. He tries to get the money by making some shady deals, but part of it he gets paid by check. Patsy, a girl from the North whom he met on vacation, tries to help him continue working at the strip club. Sammy doesn't want this, and he decides to send her home and deal with Connor's men alone.
