Eeuwige Moes plot
After forty years, Ruurd Walrecht gave up his life's work: preserving rare crops threatened with extinction. Tired of being opposed by the government, he emigrated to Sweden. With him disappeared a wealth of unique knowledge. In 'Eeuwige Moes', those left behind are allowed to speak. People who, together with Walrecht, cherished the same dream for years. Their memories are interspersed with impressions of their daily lives and the landscape they inhabit. In short intermezzos, special crops are shown in extreme close-ups. While they float like jewels in a black universe, Walrecht's reflections can be heard in voice-over.
