There is no other photographer who better captures the exciting and fascinating social and cultural life of the Côte D'Azur in the 1950s than Edward Quinn (1920-1997). He worked on the French Riviera for over 10 years, capturing the 'golden fifties' in countless photographs. The 'rich and the famous' came here to relax. But the French Riviera was above all the place to be for celebrities from the worlds of art, showbiz and business. Sophia Loren, Gary Grant, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly, Pablo Picasso, Grace Kelly, Alfred Hitchcock and many others have all been immortalized in the photo by Quinn. Quinn was in the right place at the right time and captured this time in a spontaneous and legendary way. Riviera Cocktail brings together his huge archive, we see Quinn talking to the stars and see his hundreds of photos that represent another time; a time when, unlike today's paparazzi, the photographer and the stars still had normal contact with each other.
