A writer takes a few days off work to work on a new novel. He has rented a room in a guest house on a lake, somewhere in the Spanish countryside. The owner of the guest house is an attractive woman. She tells him that she has a sick husband who is not allowed to see anyone but her. When a couple of guests are murdered in a bloody manner with a razor, the writer starts to suspect the husband. But then he finds out that the owner no longer has a husband.

The story has a strange, unusual atmosphere because it seems that not only the boarding house owner has an agenda of his own, but also the writer himself. The latter remains vague, but the relationship between the boy and him seemed questionable. The killings are somewhat dull in execution, as they all resemble each other. The film fails to deliver any truly surprising results, and the ending is oversimplified when the perpetrator is easily convinced to surrender to the police. Fortunately, the director thought to include some naked women, and admittedly, the female forms of all four women were worth seeing. 5/10
