Next of Kin plot
Peter Foster is an only child in a Canadian family. His parents argue a lot, which makes him unhappy and passive. That is why he goes into video therapy with his father and mother. When he watches the recordings, he happens to see fragments of an Armenian family. The parents were no longer able to care for their own son, after which the child was forced to give up for adoption. Peter decides to tear himself away from his own fate and pose as the prodigal son of the Armenian family.
