Egri Csillagok plot
Gergely is the son of a poor woman, while Éva Cecey is the daughter of a wealthy landowner. Yet they play together. While playing in the forest, they are captured by the Turk Jumurdzsák. They manage to escape years later. After Gergely's mother dies in an attack by the Turks, the wealthy Bálint Török takes the boy under his wing. He too is captured by the Turks. When Gergely meets Éva again years later, they decide to free Bálint.
