Kâbê plot
"An inspiring story of a mother's courage in a time of war."
Tokyo, 1940. A family lives happily and under normal circumstances their daily lives. But then the father of the family is suddenly arrested by the government. It appears that a new law has entered into force, the Law for the Preservation of the Public Order. The rest of the family, mother, two children and grandmother, are left behind without any idea what is going on and without a signal if and when the man can be released. Their lives change completely from one moment to the next.
