Payroll plot
"Brilliant... Brutal... Torn from tonight's headlines!"
A vile gang of four criminals, consisting of the leader Johnny Mellors, the alcoholic Monthy, the moody Blackie and the easy-going Bert, schemes to steal the salaries of the local Neill's Motorcycle Factory. At the last minute, however, the gang has to call off the robbery, because two motorcycle cops arrive. A second setback is that the gang learns from the informant at the factory that an armored car will be used for future money transports. However, Johnny has already put so much time into planning the robbery that he wants to continue anyway.
