"Do You Really Know Youe Neighbors?"
Four newlyweds live in a Los Angeles suburb. David and Jean Martin see their relationship slowly crumble after Jean was raped by Troy, an alcoholic war veteran. Meanwhile, Troy's wife, Leola, wants to start a family, but he doesn't want children. Hardworking Herman Kreitzer tries to find a new home for his Japanese-American assistant Iko, but his wife Betty advises Herman not to help Iko. Jerry Flagg, a car salesman, turns to alcohol to drink away all his disappointments, while his wife Isabelle is visibly suffering from his problems.
