Neji-Shiki plot
It has been two years since Tsube and Kuniko moved in together. However, they can no longer pay the rent. As a result, they have to live separately again. After a while, Tsube discovers that Kuniko has been unfaithful and attempts suicide. This attempt fails and after he leaves the hospital, he heads to the mountains to sort things out. Here he meets Chiyoji, a local girl, who fascinates him.
