The Suicide Tourist plot

The controversy surrounding active euthanasia has often placed the Netherlands at the center of the international discussion on this subject. So far, euthanasia seekers have mainly been left at the mercy of the official positions of their own government. Switzerland, however, offers an opening to those who find no understanding in their own country for their wish to end their lives in a legal and humane way. Lawyer Ludwig Minelli founded the organization Dignitas which, although subject to strict rules, can also guide foreigners in active euthanasia.
