Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk plot
"To walk the path of a hero, you have to see how it all began."
The story is told from the perspective of Billy Lynn (Joe Alwyn), a 19-year-old soldier who, along with the rest of the Bravo Company, survived a horrific battle in Iraq. They are then welcomed as heroes during a triumphal march in the United States. Flashbacks projected during halftime of an American Football game on Thanksgiving show what really happened to the group in Iraq.
