A data path used several times in the movie contains symbols that are the same alphabet used in the Star Wars universe. The characters Ash and Bishop are also the names of the androids from Alien and Aliens. Director Joey Curtis and Executive Producer Kenneth K. Martinez Burgmaier have made 4 films together.
