Joe's Palace plot
The multimillionaire Elliot lives alone in a large mansion in the heart of London as a hermit. His only contact with the outside world is teenage Joe, who is part messenger, part protege. Joe is the new overseer of Elliot's second mansion across from where he lives. This second home has a turbulent history; Elliot always thought it was kind of a haunted house, and goes in search of the past of the house his father bought. The lives of both Elliot and Joe change completely when the house in question is occupied in the evenings by a politician and his mistress, and the true history of the house is revealed.
