The Undying Monster plot

"LUSTS UPON BEAUTY!"

A werewolf sneaks around at night but only kills the members of one particular family. Beautiful horror/mystery with comedy touches (Heather Thatcher's Scotland Yard detective who doesn't mince her words), perhaps no more than a B-movie in terms of both running time and approach, but exceptionally atmospheric and remarkably polished, with good performances, beautiful photography, unusual camera angles and insane sets - in short, the kind of film for which you can wake me up at any time of the night. Currently available in a few excellent transfers on YouTube, but be careful which one you watch, because there is also a version that has been stretched from 4:3 to 16:19 (in which the image and therefore all the characters are wider than intended).
