Single-Handed plot

British naval officer Richard Saville has had a brief relationship with an English woman and never learns that she has given birth to a son, Andrew, of which he is the natural father. Twenty years later, the boy is sailing on a ship under Richard's command when he tracks down a German warship. When Andrew is captured after his ship has sunk, he finds a way to slow down the Germans while a deadly hunt is set in motion.
