Tales from the Downside plot

Documentary about the youth in the former mining region in South Limburg, where, forty years later, the economic and social consequences of the closure of the mines can still be felt. Many people express their anger in punk hardcore metal music, resulting in the music scene MOC (Mine Region East Crew). Unlike in the past, when brass bands and bands were the most popular leisure activities, a large part of the youth now plays loud guitar music with a fast tempo and sounds like it was recorded on a tape recorder. There is no singing, but shouting. The frustrations about their own environment are expressed in it.
