I saw this movie 3 times on ZONE HORROR and recorded it the 3rd time. Great movie, can't say anything else. Nice gothic atmosphere. Beautifully filmed, beautiful music. I can't find it anywhere and I would like to buy it.

Actually, the interludes with William Shatner and his "Full Moon Fright Night" are the most memorable thing about this entire film. You have to like the humor, but I certainly appreciated it.

Furthermore, this Full Moon vampire flick doesn't have much to offer.

David Gunn plays a tormented vampire who has been unable to accept his fate. That's why he hunts down the man he sees as responsible for his fate. The Count Dracula of this story, only this one is called "Ash" (played by Jonathan Morris). In addition, there is a subplot with a young lady that Ash has his eyes on, something that his other servants are not very happy with.

In broad terms, these are the issues at play in this film. The looks of David Gunn and Jonathan Morris still look good, but the acting is not always strong. Furthermore, unfortunately there is very little blood and that is partly why there is not always much to see.

Not all dialogues are interesting enough to keep your attention.

I have seen worse films from the Full Moon stable, but this is certainly not one of the best.

Vampire film that went down as a spin-off from Subspecies, but that was probably done at the last minute to get some extra physical copies to sell. Fortunately, it is all quite entertaining to a certain extent thanks to the atmospheric sets, but the actors (with the exception of Kirsten Cerre) do not do much and the practical effects are a bit too transparent. Specifically, the run-up to a quite entertaining finale is far too long, especially when the romantic and sentimental elements are very weak. The rest of the content is predictably traditional and many journals are not included, but every now and then these types of videos are included.
