L'Ultima Chance plot
"Trust Nobody ... Not Even Yourself!"
After a theft at a jewelry store in Canada, two Americans plan a meeting near the US borders to divide the loot. One of them has an accident with his car on the way there and has to spend the night in an isolated motel until his car is repaired. The motel's owner, a charming woman in her thirties, falls in love with him but begins to distrust him more and more, especially when the police arrive at the motel.
