Hänsel und Gretel plot

Hansel and Gretel's family is so poor that they can't buy anything to eat. The parents decide to leave the children in the forest, because milk and honey flow there, according to hearsay. The two children have been given the plan and Hans scatters breadcrumbs to find his way back home later. However, he has not taken into account the birds that eat the breadcrumbs and the two children are soon lost in the dark forest. Until they come across a house made of gingerbread inhabited by an old woman, a witch, who has evil plans for the children.
