Die Fliegenden Ärzte von Ostafrika plot

In this documentary, director Werner Herzog follows a number of doctors who, since 1960, have been flying to remote areas in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda to provide medical aid to the local population. However, the inhabitants of these distant regions are not open to the modern knowledge of the whites and in many cases opt for their own traditional healing methods. It is clear that there is a great chasm between these two worlds, which cannot be bridged quickly and easily.
