Appuntamento in Nero plot

Gianni is a politician with a promising career. Angela, his wife, feigns a rape in a movie theater. Eva is Gianni's mistress and Angela's girlfriend. Gianni and Eva decide to use the pretext of the assault to kill Angela. Shortly afterwards, Angela is blackmailed by a man who witnessed the incident in the cinema. Two more people appear in the background: Rosy, her omnipresent help and an enigmatic man, who keeps showing up and harassing her with strange phone calls. For Angela, her life is gradually turning into a nightmare.
