In Memoria di Me plot
Andrea finds herself in an existential crisis and decides to join a monastery. During his period as a novice, the order will investigate whether he is actually suitable to join the order fully. Andrea soon discovers that monastic life is more than faith and prayer. As the novices are instructed to report each other's weaknesses, the monastery becomes a strange universe where every sound and glance can be interpreted in different ways. Hours of reading and the personal search for God are thus dominated by constant watching and being guarded.
