Quiet Please: Murder plot

Jim Fleg is a criminal who specializes in selling rare books. In the presence of a fake detective, Hollis, Jim Fleg enters a library to steal a valuable document in Shakespeare's handwriting. Jim Fleg's criminal girlfriend, Myra Blandy, decides to help him with this crime, until she learns that he is turning murderous. She enlists the help of Detective Hal McByrne to arrest Jim.
